More than $39,000, guns and drugs found in Buffalo raid on Sunday

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) – A Buffalo man faces a slew of charges after a search warrant found drugs, guns and tens of thousands of dollars in cash.

The search took place on Winter Street on Sunday. There, Buffalo Police said they worked with Homeland Security Investigations and found the following:

  • about two kilograms of crack and cocaine powder
  • more than $39,000
  • drug paraphernalia
  • 9mm KelTec handgun loaded with seven bullets
  • .22 caliber revolver

Juan Rivera, 50, was subsequently charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a second and third degree weapon.
