Morbius Footage Reveals Jared Leto in Complete Monster Mode

At CCXP Worlds 2021, Sony released a new clip about Morbius, the next movie is set Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, Inside Jared Leto play the role of a half-legitimate vampire. Morbius is part of Sony’s project to build a cinematic universe with Spider-Man villains, set in a similar reality, where Tom Hardy‘NS Venom movie happens.

Morbius Michael Morbius, a man with a rare and deadly blood disease willing to do anything he can to find a cure. Unfortunately, that means turning yourself into a bloodthirsty half-vampire that preys on humans. In the same way as Venom, Morbius intends to introduce an anti-hero who is not afraid to kill his victims and who will use his newly acquired powers to make criminals even more terrifying than he is. Besides, Morbius somehow connected to Sony’s future plans with Spider-Man, although no one knows for sure what these plans actually are.

Morbius‘latest trailer has references to multiple iterations of Spider-Man in the cinema, with nods to the events taking place both Tom Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Andrew Garfield in Ultimate Spiderman franchise for a short period of time. The trailer also features a clever easter egg with Tobey MaguireSpider-Man’s costume and mention of Hardy’s Venom, leave fans wondering what exactly is going on behind the camera. Take that into account Tom HardyVenom’s is said to play an important role in Morbius, and Michael Keaton will likely reprise his role as the MCU’s Vulture, and it looks like Sony and Disney superhero movies will become part of a similar continuum.

So far, Sony and Disney have kept their superhero movies in separate universes, but when the MCU kicks off the Multiverse, everything becomes possible. In less than two weeks, Spider-Man: There’s no way home will feature Alfred MolinaDoctor Octopus, Jamie FoxxElectro, Willem DafoeGreen Goblinand, as recently revealed, Church of Thomas HadenSandman and Rhys Ifans‘ Lizard. All of these villains are from previous versions of Sony’s Web Crawler, exactly one bad guy for every pre-MCU film – three featuring Maguire as the main hero, and The other two characters are led by Garfield.

Also, Venom: Let There Be Carnage broke the barrier between Sony movies and MCU. To be fair, Morbius possibly the first film to show the aftermath of There is no way home.
