Moonfall director says Star Wars and superhero movies are ruining cinemas

Falling Moon Director Roland Emmerich called for Star Wars and superhero movies for ruining the film industry.

“You should make bold new movies, you know? And I think, actually, Christopher Nolan is the master of that. He’s someone who can make movies about anything he wants. It’s a little harder for me, but I still have a big enough name — especially when it’s a disaster [movie] or have some sort of disaster theme. “

Falling Moon stars Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, John Bradley, Michael Pena and Kelly Yu. The film was directed and co-written by Roland Emmerich. Moonfall hits theaters on February 4, 2022.
