Money-saving mom reveals how she’s saving hundreds on her kids’ clothes

Do you get frustrated when you go to a clothing website and only find smaller sizes?
Well, one money-saving mom has shown how you can use this to your advantage – and save hundreds of pounds in the process.
YouTuber HollySmithaka Holly Vlogs, took to TikTok to share her clever trick as she explained, “I wanted to come up with a money saving tip because I told someone this today and it just blew their minds and it can save you a fortune.” .
“You know, when you shop at ASOS or In The Style or some other clothing website and you go to a sale and they’re a size two, a size four, a size six and they’re never your adult size?
“Buy the small sizes for your kids – they fit them perfectly. I do that and I’m saving a fortune.”
Holly then showed off a long-sleeved ribbed pink top with a rainbow emblem and a purple floral top which she picked up on sale for a mere pound.
“To show you what the sizes are like, these are two recent purchases I made for my 10-year-old,” she continued.
“This is a really cute rainbow top, this one has gone from £26 down to just £3 and this purple one has gone down from £15 to £2.
“As you can see size two is small enough and fits a 10 year old.”
Holly was quickly praised for the money-saving hack, with one person writing, “You have the best tips!”
“I did this for the weekday. I bought a gray dress for Roald Dahl’s witch costume…never thought of regular outfits,” added another person.
And someone else added: “I’m 5ft tall and I shop with the kids all the time.
“What about age 7/8? Xx,” another person asked, to which Holly replied, “I bought a size 0 when my daughter was 8 (hope this helps).”
Speaking of saving money, Holly has previously revealed how to get a bargain at Tesco.
