Moment woman, 30 years old, collapsed while being arrested for stabbing her abusive boyfriend, 31 years old, to death

Shocking footage shows the moment a woman breaks down as she is arrested for stabbing her abusive boyfriend to death.
Kayley Mahood, 30, was cleared of murder after slashing former professional boxer Oliver O’Toole, but was found guilty of manslaughter instead.
She told Stafford Crown Court she acted in self-defense during a clash with her partner.
Mahood was arrested after inflicting a fatal wound on Mr O’Toole, 31, at their home in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, on 25 July last year.
Newly released police body cam footage shows the moment Mahood, who has a bruise on her right eye, is taken into custody by police as she screams “what, what” as an officer ushers her in cuffs.
Jurors cleared Mahood’s murder on Tuesday, but convicted her of manslaughter.
The jury was instructed that Mahood would be guilty of a lesser offense if her actions were unlawful and posed “some risk of injury that is not necessarily serious”.
Prosecutors charged Mahood, who claimed she was punched in the face, suffered an eye injury, with intent to kill or cause actual serious harm.
In her closing remarks to the jury, QC Rachel Brand, the defense said peaceful force was used to inflict deadly injuries suggesting that Mahood acted out of fear.
Ms Brand said of the 4cm deep wound Mr O’Toole suffered: “Is this relatively shallow wound more suitable for someone who is quick to act out of fear of keeping someone away from them?”
“We said that the evidence here was only for self-defense and the prosecution did not prove anything else.
“What happened is a tragedy, ladies and gentlemen.
“But it’s not murder or manslaughter because in that pivotal moment what the evidence shows you is that she was just doing what she honestly thought was necessary to defend herself.”
Opening Crown’s case last week, prosecutor Caroline Goodwin QC said Mr O’Toole collapsed in his backyard after being seen slumped against a wall.
Ms Goodwin testified in court that Mr O’Toole, who had previously tried his hand at professional boxing, was pronounced dead at 12:32pm after paramedics were immediately called by a neighbor. before noon.
