Mom shares hack to get her kids to take meds

If you’re having trouble getting your baby to take medication in a syringe when they’re sick, know you’re not alone.
As they’re already fussy about being under the weather, they might not take to new things well, but one mom shared a trick that makes it a lot easier to give them medication.
The 28-year-old mother of five clearly has a ton of experience when it comes to babies.
Lina Frances from USA shared the hack with her TikTok accountwhere it went viral with over five million views.
In the video, she said: “I’ve been a mom for ten years and I never knew this trick.
“If your baby isn’t doing well taking medication from a syringe, this is what you need to try.”
She explains that she took her baby’s prescription medication and put it in the cap of a clean bottle.
“While she was drinking her formula, I just secretly swapped it out and it worked like a charm.
“This trick works really well on my baby even if he’s not eating, so I think it could work either way.” She added.
She shows her baby not moving and taking the medication without fuss when she swaps the bottle for the bottle cap filled with medicine.
Some viewers of the video were seriously impressed with the hack, while others said it might not always work.
Moms who’ve used it before said it worked like a charm on their babies, too: “Great mommy hack!! I’ve done that and always worked wonderfully, you’re a great mom,” said one.
“I made this for my son 20 years ago! Lol best way to get her to take her meds!” exclaimed another mom.

A third wrote: “This hack is life changing.”
However, one viewer warned: “Be careful with this, I did this to my five month old and he refused his bottle for the next week after thinking it was medicine.”
