Mom reveals the surprise personal care product she uses to remove urine stains from the toilet

BATHROOMS can get pretty uncomfortable pretty quickly.
They accumulate dirt and odors that often linger for a while, sometimes even after the room has been cleaned.
One mom said she’s discovered a hack that will rid your bathroom floor of any remaining urine stains or odors – something that will come in handy, especially if you have little boys around.
Post in the requested Facebook group “Cleaning and Organization Inspiration Australia”, She revealed her solution: shaving cream.
The product, which is likely lying around in your home and costs just a few dollars at a supermarket, seemingly unexpectedly doubles as a toilet floor scrub and air freshener.
The woman said she used a generous amount of shaving cream and placed it on the floor around her toilet – an area where urine drips can easily collect.
“Three boys in the house including a two year old and a three year old. Finished first one and smelled nice so now on to second bathroom,” she posted.
Her post caught the attention of hundreds of other members of the group and garnered 570 comments.
Many users admitted that they do the same and got successful results.
“It gets rid of the smell of urine. I have two teenagers and I let them do this in their toilet every week!” one person wrote.
Others explained how the trick works: you should leave the shaving cream on the floor for anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, and then wipe it up a few times to make it shiny again.
“Not easy to clean, but the results are undeniable (and it’s really just an extra mop of the area after the main mass has been lifted the first time). I didn’t believe it until I tried it,” shared one commenter.
The only problem is that you’ll probably have to do this shaving cream routine a few times a week since the fresh scent doesn’t always last for many days.
“I think it also takes two days. I’ll try another brand though as house brand only gives you half the frigging bottle if you run out of gas,” one person commented.
Be sure to buy a large bottle as you will need a thick layer of cream to cover the floor around the toilet.
