Moderna’s COVID-19 Vaccine Receives Full FDA Approval – CBS Baltimore
(CNN) – Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine, Spikevax, has received full approval from the US Food and Drug Administration, according to statements from the FDA and Moderna.
Spikevax is currently approved for use by people 18 years of age and older. It is not approved or allowed for use by young people.
Moderna’s is the second Covid-19 vaccine to receive full FDA approval. Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine, Comirnaty, has been approved for use in people 16 years of age and older and is approved for use in people 5 to 15 years of age.
