Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 Battle Pass Leak Reveals “Combat Map”

Infinity Ward accidentally leaked a trailer revealing how Battle Pass for Modern Warfare 2 Progression works for the main game and Warzone 2.0. The trailer leak was shared on the official Call of Duty channels in Australia and New Zealand before being promptly removed. However, users were able to grab the video detailing the new Battle Pass combat card system before it was removed and reposted the full trailer on social media.

Modern Warfare 2’s Battle Pass combat map lets you choose what to unlock

As revealed in the leaked trailer (above posted by CharlieIntel on Twitter) the Battle Pass will not be linear this time. Instead, players can actively choose which unlockables they want by using Battle Tokens to redeem rewards. This Battle Pass battle map is divided into different “Battle Sectors”, each containing five rewards. Once the player has gotten all five rewards, the next sector will open. Players who can complete each sector will also receive bonus rewards.

Cosmetic items aside, the Battle Pass 23 includes items such as working weapons and a small number of Call of Duty points. Those with the updated Premium Battle Pass gain access to the 100+ rewards on the battle map, including new operators, weapon blueprints, and up to 1400 CoD points. Each new season brings new maps and new rewards, likely changing the Battle Pass combat map each time.

While the Modern Warfare 2 Battle Pass is currently grayed out, it will unlock tomorrow, November 16th. Also, the Modern Warfare 2 update roadmap is pretty busy for this month.
