Actress Miranda Cosgrove quickly went viral on TikTok thanks to a sound snippet that brought new life, and now she’s responded to the video’s unexpected popularity.

One trend that has seen a huge boom is the “I’m actually swearing” sound, which came from an interview with Miranda Cosgrove that was hosted by comedian Whitney Cummings.

After going viral with the amusing snippet, Cosgrove has responded to the popularity of the TikTok clip.

“Yeah, when my friend Whitney and I did this interview after we had the exchange we had and she liked to have a really hard laugh, it’s kind of funny because everyone on TikTok thinks it’s me who’s laughing,” said the iCarly actress.

“It’s my friend Whitney who’s laughing, and I keep texting her and telling her like you’ve ‘pulled me in,’ and now all of TikTok is making fun of me,” Cosgrove continued.
