Milly Alcock has made a surprise statement following her success house of the dragon.
The 22-year-old actor played a young Rhaenyra Targaryen on the recently released HBOgame of Thrones spin-off series. The character was taken over by Emma D’Arcy in episode six.
While Alcock is gone house of the dragonThe actress was praised for her performance as Rhaenyra, and many fans lamented her “premature” departure from the series.
In conversation with the Herald SunAlcock spoke about the “life-changing” role.
The actress said she’s “still” adjusting to the afterlife house of the dragonadding that “it’s all very strange”.
“But there’s also this element of, ‘This is probably all going to be temporary and it’s going to wear off,'” she said.
Speaking about her future on screen, Alcock made the surprising statement that she no longer wants to do fantasy films or TV shows.
She said: “I don’t do fantasy roles. I don’t want to do that. I did it and I don’t have to do it again.
“I’m just kind of waiting for the right project. I’m in no hurry to jump on anything.”
Alcock went on to say that she “would rather not work a lot and do work that I’m really proud of and passionate about.”
While house of the dragon Since she hasn’t used any flashback scenes before, showrunner Ryan Condol gave Alcocks fans hope when he said, “The door isn’t closed” upon her return to the series.
