Mike Tindall surprises I’m A Celebrity roommates by revealing his first jobs

Mike Tindall, a former rugby player who is married to Zara Phillips, surprised his colleague I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Roommates by revealing what his first jobs were.
Saturday night’s episode of the ITV series saw contestants Tindall, Boy George, Seann Walsh and Owen Warner go head-to-head for first jobs while they were all at the creek.
Tindall said, “What was your first job?”
Culture Club singer Boy George said: “Didn’t get out of school at 15, worked in a fruit factory for three weeks, bagging apples. Worked at Tesco filling the shelves.”
Comedian Walsh said in the Bush Telegraph: “Boy George worked at Tesco, can you imagine? [Doing an impression of Boy George he continued:] “I don’t store the bread, why the fuck would I store the bread, you store the bread. Every little bit helps… no, it doesn’t.’”
Boy George added: “I worked in a hat shop for about four years. This was my favorite activity since I was allowed to dress up. Then I was fired for being late. I was late every day.
“I had a friend who was in a band, we broke up and I thought I’d start a band just to tease him. So that’s really how Culture Club started.”
Hollyoaks actor Warner admitted: “Me and parenting never agreed. I worked in a pub, I worked in a garden center, I did a lot of club promotion at uni. I liked that because it was about chatting with people and then Hollyoaks came right behind it.”
Walsh said: “My first job was in a fish and chip shop on Brighton seafront. After that, I think I worked at the Odeon…I was always in there, watching the film…that’s how it went.”
Tindall said of his pre-rugby days: “I’ve worked on fish and chips vans but also done stuff with a mate’s dad and adjusted the ventilation at Asdas in York.”

Walsh said in the Bush Telegraph: “Mike Tindall is a king fixing a bloody ventilator in a supermarket. He had a life, didn’t he?”
Mike added, “I’ve always felt comfortable lifting and shifting.”
The surprise came as Tindall is also known for his position within the royal family due to his marriage to Zara Phillips.
The rugby player first met Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter, daughter of Princess Anne and her first husband Mark Phillips, at the 2003 Rugby World Cup and the couple announced their engagement in 2010 after receiving the Queen’s leave.
They married in Edinburgh in 2011 and now reside at Gatcombe Park, a royal estate in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire.
The couple have three children: Mia (eight), Lena (four) and Lucas (one).
Tindall was recently present at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, where he was seen comforting the Countess of Wessex’s son James.
