Mike Tindall recalls tearing his pants in front of his mother-in-law, Princess Anne, during the ‘Slut Drop’
It’s not uncommon for you to embarrass yourself in front of your in-laws, but Mike Tindall’s story might just take the crown.
The former rugby world champion who is currently appearing on the hit UK TV show ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ made a shocking revelation about an encounter with his mother-in-law, who happens to be a senior member of the royal family.
The ex-athlete, who is married to Zara Tindall née Phillips – daughter of Princess Anne, the only daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II – recalled getting red cheeked after “slut trapping” in front of the king.
During the Monday episode of the show, Tindall said the mistake happened at his wife’s 30th birthday party, which was a ’70s theme.
“I was dancing on the dance floor, I was wearing bell bottoms, a full outfit but it was pretty tight, nothing ever fitted – a rugby player’s butt and legs – so I danced with my mother-in-law and did a slut drop in front of my mother-in-law,” he remembers.
“My pants tore right in front of her. It was like the boxers I was wearing at the time said, ‘Chew my nuts.’”
“When I turned around, she was gone, ‘I’d rather not.’ I went, ‘I go’ and I left,” he added.
Tindall married Zara in 2011 and they welcomed three children together: daughters Mia Grace, born in 2014, and Lena Elizabeth, born in 2018. Their son Lucas Philip was born in 2021.
