Mike Lindell pulled ads from Salem radio but they didn’t care

Mike Lindell waged war against an unexpected source: right-wing media. Last week, MyPillow Guy, who is so pro-Trump he is ready to lose his entire fortune because of baseless voter fraud claims, launched a Fox News protest. Almost no one showed up. Then he failed the 96-hour Thanksgiving marathon dedicated to conspiracy theories about the 2020 election. Dozens of people have followed. Then he pull ads from a popular Christian news network, people he felt he didn’t trust enough of. Thing is, they don’t care.

Follow The Daily Beast, Lindell dedicated part of his aforementioned marathon railing against Salem Radio Network, which broadcasts Seb Gorka and Dennis “I’m glad I caught COVID” Prager. They haven’t had him for a while, he lamented, calling them “worse” than Dominion, the voting system company that sued him for $1.3 billion. So he took his toys – i.e. advertisements that could convince people to buy his product and thus provide him with cash flow – and went home.

But a Salem spokesman said it was not confused. “No, we are not sad. He has the right if he wants to do it,” they told The Daily Beast, adding that no one was making a concerted effort to convince him to reverse the move. Do they at least hope he’ll reconsider? The spokesman said, simply, “No.”

What they did say was that, despite what Lindell had told his dozens of listeners, none of their hosts were barred from discussing conspiracy theories. “None of my hosts forbid talking about the Supreme Court or anything,” they said. “My host is not forbidden to talk about anything.”

This isn’t the first time Lindell has pulled MyPillow ads from conservative media. He did the same with Fox News, which must have hurt, since they have very few longtime advertisers to review. sometimes dangerous nonsense ejected from their host’s mouth. But then he changed his mind.
