Mick Carter is cornered by obsessed Janine Butcher

EASTENDERS’ Janine Butcher is back at her best scheming as she tries to carry Mick Carter’s bag for Christmas.

EastEnders vandals shows Janine flirting with Mick, played by Danny Dyer, as they decorate the pub decorations.

Nancy and Shirley watch warily but miss the ploy when she turns to the Best Spouse question for the carnival quiz.

Mick appeared annoyed, but his temper subsided when Janine told him she was taking care of his children’s presents with Billy Mitchell’s help.

The next day, Janine increased her audacity to try to catch Mick’s eye when she dressed as Mrs. Claus.

After realizing Billy’s choice of gifts is terrible, she’s dealt an even bigger blow when her daughter Scarlett says she’ll be spending Christmas at the Slaters’ house.

In a tender moment, she turns to Mick for help, after she learns that he will be spending seasonal time away from his wife. Linda after she ran away from Walford with baby Annie.

He encouraged her to interact with the young man.

However, Frank Butcher’s daughter’s trouble streak didn’t fade, as she continued to try to attract Mick.

She tells Zack that Mick’s daughter Nancy still likes him and that he should ask him back – even though Mick defeated Zack in a recent battle.

Nancy is furious but even worse is when Janine’s mind spins after realizing Mick’s desperate desire to contact Linda.

He announces that he is bringing his family together and Stuart helps him plan the perfect family party.

Billy mentions Linda’s battle with alcohol, which adds to Janine’s inspiration.

When Linda is absent from the doo, Mick is forced to explain the truth to Nancy.

His daughter is then happy to send Janine the package – but things take a dark turn when Janine’s plan is revealed.

After going on a trip with Zack to try to sort out their relationship once and for all, Nancy leaves Mick with an ultimatum on New Year’s Eve.

Will he side with his family, or Janine?

Janine back to EastEnders this year – with soap bosses swearing “she’s changed.”

The villain is most famous for pushing her husband Barry off a cliff.

Along with killing Barry while on their honeymoon in the Scottish Highlands, Janine also murdered her fourth husband, Michael Moon.

She tries to run into second husband Ryan Malloy, runs after Ronnie Mitchell’s long-lost daughter Danielle, tries to scam the Mitchell family, and frame archenemy Stacey Slater for murder.

Executive producer Jon Sen and host Kate Oates wanted to bring Janine back for a while and at the time said they were looking forward to seeing the character lock horns with some “fresh meat”, as many residents Walford’s current population has yet to overtake her before her explosive appearance.
