For a high school basketball player in Michigan, a text message with the wrong number turned into an epic group chat that none of his teammates could ever forget.

Somehow, Vinny Tartaglia accidentally added the number of Sean Murphy-Bunting, a Michigan native and quarterback for defending Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to the freshman basketball team’s group chat. at Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy in Pontiac.

The team received an unexpected reply: “You mean to add me to this group???” Murphy-Bunting texted.

Tartaglia and the members of his team were initially unknown, so Murphy-Bunting submitted a selfie to prove who he was. Then he turned on FaceTime and the Buccaneers ran back to Leonard Fournette proceeding to give the meteor teenagers a tour of the team’s locker room.

Along the way, they got to meet other Bucs, including Rob Gronkowski, who widely approached Mike Evans and full-back Richard Sherman, and even chatted with GOAT himself, full-back Tom Brady.
