Meghan Markle will receive just £1 punitive damages from the Mail on Sunday for her High Court privacy victory

The Duchess of Sussex will receive just £1 from her High Court privacy win.

Meghan, 40 years old, agreed to accept nominal damages from the Mail on Sunday.

Last month, the newspaper was ruled to have invaded her privacy by publishing a 2018 letter the duchess sent to her father. Thomas Markle.

Associated Press will also pay a fine for piracy and a large portion of Meghan’s £1.5 million cost.

In March, the Supreme Court ruled in her favor after she sued.

The Court of Appeal later rejected the Associated’s request to quash the conviction.
