Megan Thee Stallion graduated from Texas Southern University

Today is an important day for Megan Thee Stallion like her graduated from Texas Southern University. She left HBCU with a Bachelor of Health Administration and was one of 843 graduates of the school to receive their degrees on Saturday. Megan even invited her fans to tune into the school’s live stream of the opening ceremony to watch her walk through the stage. Hers infectious energy was on full display as she kept smiling as she interacted with TSU faculty and graduates. TSU even shared a picture of Megan with the school’s 13th President, Dr. Lesia Crumpton-Young, to their Instagram account.

With her official graduation from TSU today, Megan fulfills the promise she made to the women in her life, including her late mother, to complete her education. “I want to get a degree because I really want my mother to be proud,” she said in an interview with Everyone last year. “I want my big mom to be proud. She saw me coming to school before she passed. My grandmother who is still alive used to be a teacher, so she was very worried about me about completing my studies. ” She added, “I am doing it for me, but I am also doing it for the women in my family who have made me who I am.”

As for what’s next, Megan could get started on the medical facility she wants to build in her hometown of Houston, which she talked about in 2018.
