Mega Millions lottery jackpot of $810 million for winning numbers drawn tonight

The Mega Millions jackpot is up to $810 million for Tuesday night’s winning number draw.

The jackpot is the third largest in Mega Millions history and comes with a $470.1 million cash option.

The winning numbers for last Friday’s drawing were: 14, 40, 60, 64, 66 and Mega Ball 16.

The jackpot got so big because there hasn’t been a winner for three months. Those 28 consecutive draws, with no one matching all six numbers, have allowed the jackpot to grow gradually from its starting point of $20 million in April.

Mega Millions is played every Tuesday and Friday night. In the game’s 20-year history, 221 players have hit the Mega Millions jackpot.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states plus the District of Columbia and the US Virgin Islands. The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302.6 million.
