Masked Singer fans convinced Jellyfish was “exposed” as an X Factor legend with three clues

THE Masked Singer fans are convinced they’ve found out who’s behind the Jellyfish costume.

The aquatic character has been the focus of several theories by viewers determined to solve the mystery.

The latest suspect is X Factor winner Leona Lewis after amateur detectives uncovered some telltale clues.

“ALTEREGO on the Sign – Alter Ego is an American dance show that uses avatars for the dancers,” explained one fan.

“The movie Avatar used Leona Lewis to sing their theme song and they have a musical score in the movie called The Bioluminescence of the Night,” they concluded.

“Jellyfish – Leona Lewis – One more sleep,” one fan wrote, while another listed their guesses for each character, listing Leona as Jellyfish.

“#MaskedSingerUK I think I know the jellyfish Leona Lewis that she is,” chimed another.

“In the first clue pack when the fossil turned up there was a footprint in the sand which is a song by Leona Lewis,” wrote another.

“But it’s certainly Amber Riley,” they added.

Glee star Amber was suggested after some noticed that Jellyfish sounded like her.

One wrote: “Jellyfish sounds a lot like Amber Riley but since she already won the US version would you use her here?”

The character has had people scratching their heads as many names have been suggested as to who it could be.

Recently, the theory circulated that it was DSDS winner Fantasia Barrino.

Fans listed the clues, explaining: “Dreamcatchers, I’m not telling you – was in Dream Girls, the one name the good magic – the film.

“The Unexpected Winning of a Competition – American Idol, Funny Animation – The Simpsons, Goa – Fantasia Beach.”

Other guesses included Estelle Brown, Paloma Faith and Michelle Visage from Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

Leona became a mother for the first time in August last year after giving birth to baby Carmel Allegra.

Six months after Carmel was born, she and her daughter posed for the cover of Vogue Arabia.
