Wine flows freely

Amy Christophers – who stars in the latest UK series – told The Sun the couples booed a lot while filming for the dinner parties.

Amy declared: “There isn’t really a thing that can be.”

“They tried to prevent us from getting hit too hard, but we were all strong-willed.

“Some of us sneaked it in our pockets to drink during engagement ceremonies because we weren’t allowed there.

“But we were spotted and the security guards started searching our bags before we even left the apartment.

“We’re a nightmare to try and control. I really feel bad for the production. We’re a complete nightmare and hate having our freedom taken away.”

A spokesman for Married at First Sight disputes “unlimited” drinking on set.

“Alcohol intake was monitored throughout the shoot, which took place over the course of a single evening, and producers prioritized the safety and health of contributors,” they said.

Takeaways three times a day

All stars of the series are given £50 a day to spend on take-out purchases.

And that means many brides and grooms are already ordering from Deliveroo and Uber Eats three times a day.

Amy revealed: “I tried to choose the healthiest items possible, but those were the days when dinner parties and commitment ceremonies were taking place.

“We’ll be in our room away from other couples and they’ll be offered lots of sweets and snacks, chocolates and carbonated drinks.

“I never really ate sweets before MAFS but I ate them all, sitting around all day from boredom.

“There are some dishes that I never want to see again after Marrying at first sight!”

Treat 2 am after dinner party

Despite enjoying a three-course meal at weekly dinner parties where couples reunite, the lengthy filming schedule meant late-night snacks.

At around 2 a.m., there will be a pizza delivery to the stars who may still have room to eat more.

Supermarket budget

Amy says that in addition to a £50 allowance for takeaways, the stars have been given a £100 weekly shopping budget by Asda.

“I actually bought Josh food and cooked occasionally, but then we realized everyone else was using their supermarket budget to buy alcohol.

“So we ended up the same…”

Gym apartment to stay active

There’s a gym in our building, but it’s always booked out because Covid means only one person can work out in a tume.

“Adam always goes super early in the morning, and Marilyse and Franky will run around and run up and down the stairs of all the floors to practice.

“I’ve been doing a little yoga on our rooftop and trying to include it in my morning ritual to keep me healthy.

“I’d say we all put on an ice during the test. We ate a lot and all felt bad at the end of the test.”

Since leaving the test, the former glamor model has Design your own earrings collection with Red Ruby Rouge.

She told The Sun: “I am obsessed with earrings and have always wanted to create earrings that claim to make women feel beautiful, comfortable and of good quality. This is truly a dream come true. truth for me!!

“These earrings are made from 925 sterling silver which makes them durable, which is very important to me!

“These showstoppers can be worn day or night and would make a great statement at that Xmas or NYE party! Or Xmas gifts for your spouse.

“To celebrate the launch, I’m offering 25% off my first 100 orders…use CODE: AMY.”
