Mark Zuckerberg says he’s ‘ready to fight Elon Musk’

Mark Zuckerberg said he was “ready to fight his billionaire rival Elon Musk”.
Since the launch of Zuckerberg’s Threads social network, the tech titans have been in a semi-serious war of words. The new platform is a direct challenge to Musk’s X, the social network formerly known as Twitter.
Musk initially challenged Zuckerberg to one “Cage match“In June, Zuckerberg quickly accepted an offer.
“I love this sport and have been ready to fight since the day Elon challenged me. If he ever agrees on a specific date, you’ll hear from me. Until then, please assume that anything he says hasn’t been agreed,” Zuckerberg said in a Threads post on Friday. “I’m not holding my breath for Elon, but I’ll share details of my next fight when I’m ready.”

Just in case, Zuck included a picture of him sparring in his “backyard octagon.”
Musk, 52, is more than a decade older than 39-year-old Zuckerberg, photos suggest significantly slacker.
In May, Zuckerberg took gold in his first Brazilian amateur jiu-jitsu tournament and posted pictures of himself with his shirt torn in anticipation of the fight. For his part, Musk trains with Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Lex Fridman.

“The fight will be managed by mine and Zuck’s foundation (not UFC). The live stream will take place on this platform and meta. Everything in the camera image will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the Italian Prime Minister and Minister of Culture. “They agreed on an epic location,” Musk said Friday.
Gennaro Sangiuliano, Italy’s culture minister, confirmed in a statement that he spoke to Musk about “a major charitable and historically significant event.” Fox Business reported.
Musk said all proceeds from the event would go to veterans and children’s hospitals, and that Twitter Blue subscribers would receive bonus material.
