Margot Robbie was “appalled” at how little she knew about sexual harassment at work before filming Bombshell

Margot Robbie revealed this while working on her 2019 film bomb made her realize how little she knew about sexual harassment in the workplace.
The 32-year-old actress opened up about her career and experience in the film industry when the topic was raised at a BAFTA Life in Pictures talk.

“The second I could stop being Kayla, I did,” she said. “It was definitely something I wanted to tap into in the end.”

“I realized that as a person with an established position in the industry, financially secure and self-sufficient – I didn’t know the definition of sexual harassment, and that’s shocking,” Robbie said.
She added that she was “appalled” at how little she knew about sexual harassment prior to this film and how she thrives “in the gray area” of each respective industry.
“Roger Ailes or Harvey Weinstein, they take advantage of the area,” he said Barbie said Stern. “The situation is not black and white.”

“Something happened in those early stages and it was all pretty horrible, and I remember saying to my mom, ‘I don’t think I want to do this,'” she said vanity fair.
“And she just looked at me, totally serious, and said, ‘Honey, I think it’s too late Not to.’ It was then that I realized that the only way forward is to go.”
