Margot Robbie shares a “shot” that Martin Scorsese told her makes a good movie “great.”

Margot Robbie has revealed what it takes for Martin Scorsese to make a movie ‘great’.

“We shot the shot where I ran up the stairs and he turns to me and says, ‘Every great movie has a stair shot,'” she said.

“Since then I’ve told so many directors that Martin Scorsese says every great movie has a stairwell shot, so put the stairs in there.”

“What happened earlier in the script was I went into his office and said I wanted a divorce, and that was it,” Robbie said, revealing that she and Scorsese, alongside DiCaprio, “locked themselves in a room until three in the morning and I made it all up”.

Robbie also recently revealed which of her films she’s realized she’s a “good actress.” She said this film gave her the confidence to approach Quentin Tarantino, which led to her role in Once upon a time… in Hollywood.
