Man Utd ‘tricked into Cristiano Ronaldo transfer’ by City, Milinkovic-Savic approach, Pogba PSG offer

Morning United fans

Paris Saint-Germain have officially reached out to Paul Pogba, according to the Manchester Evening News’ Samuel Luckhurst.

The United correspondent reports that PSG have presented Pogba’s representatives with a package that includes a salary lower than what is currently on the table to remain at Old Trafford.

The France midfielder is open to a move to his country’s capital, although it is believed he favors a move back to former club Juventus.

And United are already said to be on the lookout for his replacement, with Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic on the shortlist.

The 27-year-old’s contract is up and it’s understood the Roma side are looking to cash in before he – like Pogba – leaves for nothing.

Corriere dello Sport report that United have inquired about the Serbia international’s services.

In other news, Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen has revealed he hopes Erik ten Hag will stay on as coach of the Amsterdam club and cannot understand why he should leave to lead a lower-quality side.

Former Everton man Klaassen discussed the ongoing speculation linking his manager to the Old Trafford job as he appeared to dig at the Premier League club.

The Netherlands international told Voetball Primeur: [Erik ten Hag] has been going well for us for years and badly for years at Manchester United.”

And finally, Serge Gnabry is reportedly considering leaving Bayern Munich this summer as several Premier League giants are chasing his signature.

The 26-year-old’s contract with Bayern expires next summer and talks between the two parties have stalled over his salary demands.

According to Goal, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United top the list of potential buyers.
