MANCHESTER UNITED interim manager Ralf Rangnick has revealed why he turned down the Chelsea job earlier this year before Thomas Tuchel arrived.
The German was offered only four months to work with the Blues not a manager.
There is also no indication that Rangnick will be with the club long-term after his stint as manager.
He has since taken on a six-month managerial job at United with the prospect of a consulting role for the next two years.
In his first appearance before the press as Man United manager, Rangnick said: “When Chelsea contacted me this year in February, they were only talking about the option of becoming an interim manager for four years. month.

Rangnick was in the stands as United beat rivals Arsenal 3-2 at Old Trafford.

The United legend confirmed his departure after substituting the ship for Rangnick’s takeover.
