If the Frenchman leaves Old Trafford for free, it will be the second of his career at United.

But according to ESPNThe Red Devils are hoping that the appointment of their next head coach can help convince big stars like Pogba to stay and extend their contracts.

However, Pogba has not yet appeared under the interim manager Ralf Rangnick due to a hamstring injury he received in November.

Pogba is said to be a big fan of the German and may be willing to extend his stay in Manchester if Rangnick is given the permanent job.

SunSport understands that Rangnick has begun to convince the World Cup champion that he can build a team around him.
