Man stunned by ‘tropical’ Airbnb in Birmingham for £50 a night

A man has been stunned by a ‘tropical’ Airbnb in Birmingham that costs £50 a night – only to discover it was just a tent.
Jordan Lewis is on the hunt for some cheap accommodation he can stay in for a while The game of commonwealth this summer.
While he was looking, Jordan found a place for £50 a night, which piqued his interest.
But when he clicks Airbnb listing, he discovered it was just a tent in someone’s garden.
Host Brenda describes the accommodation as: “A tropical garden oasis – a unique camping experience.”
She also kindly confirmed that guests will have full access to the tent and that they can go inside to use the restrooms in her home.
Jordan has come Twitter to share your discovery.
He wrote: “Trying to find some reasonable accounts in [Birmingham] for the Commonwealth Games as they all run high at £300+ a night.
“Found one on Airbnb for £50, just clicked on it and stayed in the Tent in ONE’S GARDEN.”
Jordan sarcastically added: “At least you get the whole place and it’s an oasis…in Birmingham.”
Someone commented on the tweet: “This is… the worst I’ve ever seen”.
Jordan replied: “Honestly! She also charges £10 to use the wood fireplace outside if you get cold.”
He later admitted: “However, at this rate, will eventually put it.”
The tent boasts rave reviews on the vacation rental website, with five stars from all seven reviews.
One person wrote: “Had a wonderful stay. Outdoor experience highly recommended. Loved every bit.”
Another way: “I would definitely recommend staying there to others.”
