A man was shot in the chest at a Manhattan club on Sunday morning and tried to drive away before crashing into a curb and dying, police officers said.
The 30-year-old was near West 143rd Street and Broadway when he was struck by gunfire around 3 a.m., police said.
The wounded victim got into his car and drove about a block before collapsing, police officers said.

“He had been shot and drove away and crashed into the partition,” said a police spokeswoman.
He was pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.
There were five suspects, two of whom were armed. One was dressed all in red, police said.
The victim had “a long criminal record,” a police source said.
There were no immediate arrests.
