Man in critical condition after being shot while riding in a taco truck in the 1400 block of Little York Airlines

Police responded to a shooting at around 2:30 a.m. on Airway near Little York.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was stopped on Airline Drive waiting to turn into the parking lot for El Taconazo Grill when another driver ran up to him and opened fire, police said.

Lieutenant Emanuel Pavel said: “There was an SUV, white or brown, behind him. times.”

The victim is in hospital in critical condition after being shot in the arm, leg and abdomen. Police said officers used four tourniquets to stop the bleeding.

Investigators are still searching for the shooter and are asking anyone with information to anonymously call Houston Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
