Man found dead in New York subway station

A man was found fatally dismembered in a Greenwich Village subway station, police said on Friday.

The unidentified victim was discovered around 12:10 a.m. Thursday with fatal lacerations to his torso in a secluded area of ​​the West Fourth Street and Sixth Avenue station in Manhattan near the stairwell ramp area from the platform, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
