HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – A man in his 60s died in his truck to keep warm in Tierwester and Rebecca Streets around 6 a.m. Sunday, officials said.

A witness saw a burning candle on the dashboard of his truck around 10 p.m. Saturday, according to Houston Fire Department firefighters.

Authorities said the man knew people in the home in the driveway he was parking in and it was normal for him to live and be in his vehicle.
