Man dead, two other women stabbed to death in fatal Brooklyn home invasion
A 61-year-old man was killed and stabbed two of his daughters in a home invasion in Brooklyn on Thursday morning, police officers and sources said.
According to police, two robbers broke into the family home on 17th Avenue off 82nd Street in Bensonhurst around 6 a.m. and demanded money from a safe.
According to the police, one of them stabbed the father several times, killing him. His name was not immediately released.
The daughters, 19 and 22, were also stabbed during the burglary.
The younger was taken to Maimonides Medical Center, where she was in critical condition. Her older sister was taken to NYU Langone Hospital and is expected to survive.
The victim’s two daughters were also stabbed during the burglary.
According to the police, the thieves broke in and demanded money from a safe.

Police officers said that there was no safe in the house and the robbers picked it up.
It was unclear why the family was targeted.
As of Thursday morning, there were no arrests.
