Man crowded onto subway tracks in New York after trying to stop the fight

A 64-year-old man was pushed onto the Manhattan subway tracks while trying to break up an argument between two others, police said.
The incident happened around 2:40 p.m. on the northbound 6 train station on 125th Street, police officers said.
The victim, who was not hit by a train, was taken to Harlem Hospital with a lacerated leg.
Police said one man was taken into custody and charges were pending.
