Man charged with decomposing body of woman found in U-Haul crate as neighbors say they saw him roll her onto the sidewalk.

A MAN has been charged in connection with the decomposing body of a woman found in a Houston U-Haul on Sunday. The body was found by two women who noticed the bloody moving box.
Miguel Angel Moreno, 60, was charged Tuesday with evidence tampering, police said. He was arrested on Sunday after being seen by witnesses rolling the box from his home.
It is not known how old the woman was or how long she has been dead. However, police said an autopsy would be carried out to establish her identity and cause of death.
As the investigation continues, Moreno could face additional charges, the Houston Police Department said.
He was described as “strange” by neighbors, who said he never made eye contact with people.
While residents are happy Moreno was arrested, they said they are still concerned, adding that they don’t think such things should ever happen.

GRAY FOUND
Police officers rushed to the scene after being informed of a suspicious package outside a block of flats.
A maintenance man reported the box loudly after noticing a bad odor KPRC.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a body in the box.
The woman, believed to be 35, was found inside, but authorities said they will not be able to confirm this until an autopsy is performed.
Matthew Hughey of the Houston Police Department told reporters that CCTV footage showed a person now believed to be Moreno carrying the box on a dolly.
He put it down and walked away from the scene.
Police recognized the man at the scene, but could not determine a motive.
Hughey said, “I couldn’t comment on his motivation for getting back on the scene.”

Local residents were not shocked that a box with a body was found.
Ashley Garcia told ABC13: “It’s something normal here. Something is always happening in this complex.”
