Man arrested in South Fort Myers . shooting investigation

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – A Fort Myers man was arrested Wednesday for shooting someone in the mouth in the South Fort Myers neighborhood on Tuesday night.
Pablo Rodriguez, 54, is facing a charge after deputies Answer a house on Robinson Street in the Harlem Heights neighborhood near Gladiolus Drive at about 8 p.m., Theo Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said one person was shot in the mouth and taken to Health Park Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Rodriguez fled the scene and was arrested just a day later, according to the LCSO.
PRIOR INSURANCE:
Deputies said the victim had some sort of encounter with the 54-year-old man before he was shot. No details are available immediately.
Rodriguez is facing aggravated battery charge with a deadly weapon.
He was taken to the Lee County Jail.
