Mackenzie and Chloe’s mystery is unraveled in Emmerdale with a devastating twist

The couple spent a night together after a falling out between Mackenzie and Charity over building a family together, which followed a devastating ectopic pregnancy.

Chloe has since found out she’s pregnant with the Adonis’ baby, but only her mother, Kerry Wyatt, knew the full truth.

Everything will change next week when Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) finally and unwillingly gets to the bottom of things.

The teenager initially got it before Chloe manipulated her into believing she was wrong.

On ITV, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) tries to join in Charity’s (Emma Atkins) happy banter… but he can’t shake his guilt.

While Chloe likes to keep the secret, Mackenzie is becoming increasingly aware of the need to be honest, especially since Charity gave the mom-to-be shelter when her sister Amy Wyatt kicked her out of their house.

The next day, Mack reveals to Chloe that he will tell Charity about their baby.

Chloe is stunned when Mack refuses to back down, ready to face the consequences of his actions that same day.

But in an attempt to save her from the consequences, he encourages Chloe to leave.

She categorically refuses to be thrown to the wolves by him, knowing she has nowhere to go, and stands her ground.

Unfortunately, Mackenzie’s plans to get clean are thwarted by Sarah, who again overhears their conversation from above.

Just as Mack and Chloe get ready to reveal their secret to Charity, Sarah stumbles down the stairs, gasping for breath.

Charity is mortified but manages to instruct Mack to call an ambulance while Sarah hyperventilates.

Sarah is taken to the ER and driven to medical treatment while Mackenzie holds an emotional charity.

At the age of six, she was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called Fanconi anemia, which led to her needing a bone marrow transplant.

Later in 2017, Sarah battled throat cancer before suffering heart failure caused by her chemotherapy.

Sarah underwent a heart transplant and gained a girlfriend during the ordeal in the form of Chloe.
