They described the breakup as “very sad” after struggling to make it work.

But some fans turning to amateur detectives believe there’s more to the story and the breakup may not be as friendly as the couple would like us to believe.

They turned to social media for clues and came to the conclusion that the pair could be at war after noticing a strategy of ‘untagging’ and ‘unpinning’ important posts online. society.

Most importantly, Kaz removed his tag from their breakup post and then Tyler removed it from his Instagram altogether.

Fans shared their theories on Reddit.

“I’m not trying to be rude but I don’t believe this breakup is mutual,” one person hypothesized.

Another added: “So I just went to kaz’s page and realized she removed her tag from her breakup post and unpinned TikTok with him. Update: Tyler has now deleted the breakup post. .”

And a third observed: “He untagged her first then an hour later he deleted lol.”

Tyler and Kaz were finalists for this year’s series, finishing in fourth place and becoming boyfriend and girlfriend shortly after returning to the UK.

They were the first of the finalists to call it a break – Chloe and Toby, Millie and Liam and Faye and Teddy, all still together.

In a joint statement released last week, they said: “We are deeply saddened to announce that we have decided to end our romantic relationship.

“We have had a wonderful journey and we will always have a special relationship between us.

“We will continue to be very much in each other’s lives and support each other in every way.

“We are so grateful for sharing this Love Island experience with each other, and we will continue to support each other’s careers.”

They added: “Life since having the villa has been wonderful, but it takes time to adjust to normalcy in the public eye. This part of the journey has not been easy for us but we are learning.

“Thanks to a very single person for supporting us, we appreciate you more than you will ever know.”

Kaz and Tyler are fan favorites on Love Island, with viewers being left behind as they snubbed in the show’s controversial reunion episode.

They were the only finalists who weren’t invited onto the sofa to chat with the host Laura Whitmore – who defended the move by insisting that Kaz be invited on stage as one of Toby’s exes.

The pleas didn’t stop with fans, who argued that she deserved a spot in the limelight based on her self-worth, along with all the other couples in the interview. Last month’s last interview on stage together.
