“Because nothing says Christmas like a creepy murder in Midsomer,” one fan tweeted.

Last week Loose Women fans left ‘cringe’ when Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards and Frankie Bridge took to the stage to perform Christmas carols together.

The carnival cheers didn’t appeal to all as viewers complained that the scenes left them ‘heartbroken’.

But the talented trio also decided to join forces and sing together when the show ended at lunchtime.

Kaye Adams also appeared in a Robin costume as the women sang Rockin Robin.

Viewers shared their thoughts on Twitter – most were unhappy about the scene.

One person tweeted: “Colleen and Frankie have absolutely nothing to talk about right now #LooseWomen.”

“Loose Women Rockin Robin, horrible, notice after Frankie tried to sing in the castle she didn’t repeat today, these 3 sing for a profession,” one fan was unimpressed.

“It’s amazing how much difference a little mixing and a few band members make,” continued the viewer.

Other fans loved the performance and flocked to it.

“Fantastic end to @loosewomen great song great song for @NolanColeen Brenda Edwards @FrankieBridge @kayeadams. Robin’s outfit is so beautiful,” one fan said.

“@NolanColeen, you still have a great voice!” tweeted one.
