Diablo 3 Echoing Nightmare: Monsters
The monsters in Echoing Nightmare get stronger as you progress, meaning you’ll want to tear them apart quickly if the early waves are too easy to get to the stronger waves.
There are several different demons to contend with – including the fallen nephalem that came before you. It is also worth noting that monsters can not be Frozen, stunned, rooted or knocked back – your CC is meaningless in the realm of nightmares.
Below are all of the different creatures, as well as the wave they appear on:
|meteors||From the first wave|
|Hellish machinations and exploding madmen||From the first wave|
|Warden of the Great Cracks||Every 30 waves|
|Fallen Nephalem (clones of the game seven classes)||Post-Wave 75 appear randomly, often more than once|
Diablo 3 Echoing Nightmare: Whisper of Atonement Reward
While chopping down these enemies doesn’t give you any gold, items, or health orbs, you do get a lot of XP for completing Echoing Nightmares as well as the new Legendary Gem, Whisper of Atonement.
You’ll receive a Whisper of Penance for each Echoing Nightmare you complete, along with his level reflecting each wave you have reached (up to 150). Just like that Season 25 Soul Shards, it can be used to upgrade your gear and can be leveled up as usual by using Urshi in Greater Rifts.
This will give you access to Diablo 3’s Echoing Nightmare LTM and earn the coveted Whisper of Atonement in return.
