Liverpool mad pundit reacts to Arsenal’s William Saliba injury

Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has posted Twitter that Arsenal need William Saliba “more than ever” to win the Premier League title after revealing he could be out for “several weeks”.
The Arsenal centre-back hobbled away in the first half of the marathon and his side’s dramatic Europa League round of 16 defeat by Sporting Lisbon on Thursday night.
Well, it’s not good news for Arsenal fans in their quest to win the Premier League title as it could also favor Liverpool after the international break.
The only major benefit is that the international break is just around the corner, giving Saliba a chance to rest and recuperate for the absolute crunch games for Mikel Arteta’s side.
One of them will be a dreaded trip to Anfield on April 9 and if Saliba isn’t back by then, the blood pressure readings of the people of north London will go up a few notches and Jurgen Klopp’s side, in their quest for space on the pitches Achieving the Champions League will target a lower quality back line.
Just 12 months ago Rob Holding had to come back to fill in for him, including his unfathomable game at Tottenham where he was sent off and fans are hoping he has changed drastically.
However, in response to the worrying news about Saliba, here’s what Enrique had to say about the £27million (Sky Sports) star, as he posted on social media.
“Hopefully the international break will help him return as soon as possible because Arsenal need him more than ever to win the Premier League title,” said Enrique
OUTSTANDING SEASON FOR SALIBA
When Arteta first walked through the doors he was thrown into chaos and one of the club’s biggest problems was their brittle, error-prone and unreliable defense.
Worse still, older players from David Luiz to Shkodran Mustafi were at the heart of the troubles, hence the call from fans to give rising star and youngster William Saliba a chance, but Arteta ignored it.
Well the way Arteta has dealt with the young Frenchman has been outstanding and has seen him develop into a quality defender who is not far from earning him a premier’s medal in his first full season League winners around the neck England’s top flight.
