Little Mix shared a completely heartbreaking music video for their song Between Us when they announced they were leaving the band.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, perrie Edwardsand Jade Thirlwall promised that they would not ‘break up’ but will focus on other projects after finishing the tour at Confetti.
In the new music video, released with notice, the girls are seen hugging and looking back at their most iconic moments as a trio from the past year, following Jessy Nelson exits the band.
Clips show everything from Leigh-Anne, Jade and Perrie playing in the recording studio, and behind-the-scenes footage from past music videos to videos from the tour and clips of them with their families.
Meanwhile, the lyrics only made things more emotional when the news came, with the girls singing: ‘I swear we won’t lose this thing we’ve found / ‘Cause love won’t never leaves us / Nothing comes between us.’
The video ends with a Polaroid photo of the group with the caption: ‘2011 to Always.’
Little Mix, who formed in 2011 on the X Factor, announced their hiatus in a statement on Thursday.
They said: ‘We want to let you all know that after the Confetti tour next April/May, we will be taking a break with Little Mix.
‘It’s been 10 great years, a non-stop great adventure, and we feel it’s time to take a break so we can recharge and working on some other projects.
‘We can’t thank you enough for your unending love and support since day one. We love you all so much. ‘
They concluded: ‘We’re not splitting – Little Mix is here to stay 💫 We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future’. ‘We’ve made so many great memories with all of you, and we can’t wait to make more.
‘We are sisters and we will always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever ♥️ See you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie x. ‘
