This feature works using Shazam music recognition engine, actually purchased by Apple.

You can add a quick shortcut for identifying Apple Music in your Control Center.

That makes it much easier for quick access.

Smart tricks shared by TikTok creator @Katamogzwhere it has received hundreds of likes.

All you need to do is go to Settings > Control Center and then add Music Recognition at the bottom of the list.

Then, when you swipe into your Control Center (by pulling down from the top right of your phone), you can quickly access it.

Just tap the Shazam icon – which looks like an S – and you’re gone.

This can quickly identify unnamed TikTok songs.

And it can also discover songs that are playing near you in the real world.

One more thing

But that’s not all.

There is actually another clever way to access this same feature.

If you don’t know, you can use the Apple logo on the back of your phone as a button.

And it can perform a wide range of tasks.

In Iphone settings, there is an option to enable a feature called Back Tap.

Simply tapping the back of the phone two or three times can perform many functions.

One of the most common is to ask your iPhone to take a screenshot – to save you from messing around with lots of physical buttons.

But you can also use it to quickly activate Shazam.

So if you hear a track you like, you can use the Press Back feature to quickly name it.

It’s much easier than manually downloading the app.

And it can be even faster than the Control Center shortcut.

To enable this feature, make sure you’ve updated to iOS 14 or later. To do that, go to Settings > General > Software Update.

Then go to your Settings.

Scroll down and tap “Accessibility,” then click “Touch.”

Then scroll down to “Back Tap”.

You will have the choice to enable “Double tap” or “Triple tap”.

Whichever you choose gives you the same options.

Click to see which features you can currently control by double-tapping or triple-tapping the back of your phone.

These include taking screenshots, increasing or decreasing the volume, zooming, scrolling, and more.

For example, if you want to use Double Tap to access Shazam, click the “Double Tap” option and then tick “Shazam Shortcut”.

Keep in mind that this feature may not work if you have a thick case.

You can toggle the Back Tap control features or turn it off at any time using the same steps above.

If you want two different functions, choose one on Double Tap and another on Triple Tap.
