Lil’ Kim biography and memoir in progress, talks about love with Biggie

A Lil’ Kim biopic is “absolutely” on the way.

At the 50th birthday celebration for the late Biggie Smalls Friday, the Queen Bee revealed exclusively to The Post that her life story will soon be told on screen for music lovers around the world.

Radiant in fitted emerald couture, Kim, 47, confirmed her upcoming biographical flick on the red carpet at the fete she was filming in honor of Biggie, née in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997 at the age of 24. On May 21, he would have been 50 years old.

“Absolutely,” Kim said when asked by The Post if fans could expect a film detailing her transformation from a shy Macy’s clerk to a renowned, Grammy-winning virtuoso.

Minutes before she spilled her biopic tea, the Brooklyn native was busy sightseeing with some of Biggie’s closest friends and family at the Empire State Building, where the fallen rap star will be honored with a special tribute on Saturday.

And while speaking to The Post, Kim noted that the film will be closely following the release of her upcoming memoir, which is set to hit shelves later this year.

In the book, Kim will reveal the intimate details of her undying love for Biggie, with whom, despite being married to 48-year-old singer Faith Evans, she was having a passionate relationship at the time of his death.

“Oh my god,” Kim said of her upcoming reveal. “Everyone will know things they never knew.”

Still, she’s not quite ready to reveal which actress she’s cast in the movie.

“I don’t know,” Kim laughed when asked which leading lady she felt worthy of dramatizing her life.

Over the years, the “Lady Marmalade” singer has unabashedly expressed her “hatred” for the controversial cast of 2009’s blockbuster “Notorious,” which documented Biggie’s rise to mic majesty. Actress Naturi Naughton, 38, was chosen to play her in the film.

“We’ll have to see that,” added the queen bee.

The bash featured a giant ice sculpture that read “BIG” and drinks named after the late entertainer’s hits like “Hypnotize” (Courvoisier and Ginger Ale) and “Mo Money, Mo Problems” (Toki Whiskey, Sour mixing) .

Kim delighted the revelers with a touching speech dedicated to the “Juicy” host.

“Happy 50th birthday from Biggie!” She cheered from center stage. “One thing about Lil Kim, she’s going to be riding for BIG…This [event] is something I wanted [do in effort] to put Biggie’s heart back together.”

Kim further paid tribute to Evans, who was unable to attend the celebrations, by referring to the “I’ll Miss You” singer as her “sister.” She also publicly flattered Biggie’s daughter Ty’Anna, 28, and son CJ Wallace, 25 (whom he shared with Evans), saying, “You’re my heart.”

And after the ‘No Time’ diva’s sweet speech, CJ joined her and Biggie’s rap protégé Lil Cease, 44, on stage to perform his father’s 1994 classic ‘One More Chance’ from his acclaimed anthology ‘Ready to to perform.

Hip-hop legends Fat Joe (51) and Havoc (48) from Mobb Deep also rocked the microphone.

Joe, who rapped along to the late host’s legendary “Big Poppa” track, joked that he carefully listened to the song “at least 72 times” to recite the ditty word for word without a mistake.

But as the audience’s giggles died down, the “Lean Back” singer – who was a close friend of Biggie – recalled he was too devastated after his tragic death to attend the music giant’s lavish funeral services. “I went outside his house and lit a candle with my wife,” Joe said.

Punctually at midnight, which marked Biggie’s actual 50th birthday, Kim, Joe and their fellow A-listers led the crowd in a rousing chorus of “Happy Birthday” as a caterer trotted out a towering four-tier cake – which was decorated an acrylic replica of the rapper’s face and topped with a tilted golden crown.

“We love Biggie,” Kim said at the end of the evening. “It’s not the end. We hope [do this again] bigger and better next year.”
