Liam Gallagher reveals major medical surgery ahead of Oasis reunion speculation

LIAM Gallagher has revealed he has undergone major hip surgery as he insisted “the comeback is real”.

The Wonderwall hitmaker, 50, took to Twitter to open up about the recent surgery as Oasis reunion rumors with his brother Noel, 55, continue to swirl.

Liam, who is always open on social media, kept fans updated as he wrote: “Morning Rastas so I had my hip surgery last week everything went well and RESPEK [respect] to all the doctors and nurses who took care of me.

“A big thank you to the A-Team for getting us home safe and sound. You know who you are and Florence Guru. I love and adore you. Riverdance, here I come, LG x.”

One fan was quick to ask: “I hope the surgery hasn’t spoiled your swagger!!”

The For What It’s Worth musician was quick to reassure him his proud walk would remain, as he explained, “I’ve got my physio studying old videos of my walk so we don’t miss a trick, the comeback is real.”

Another quipped: “Getting old now boy.”

Liam quipped, “No way man I’m half new.”

Liam’s brother and bandmate Noel recently split from his wife – and isn’t said to rule out an Oasis reunion.

Guitarist Noel told a DJ pal this month, “Well, never say never… it would take an extraordinary set of circumstances, but that doesn’t mean they’ll never happen.”

The brothers have become closer amid the failure of Noel’s marriage to Sara MacDonald.

Asked by BBC Radio Manchester’s Mike Sweeney how he and Liam, 50, were doing, Noel said: “Oh brilliant, yes.”

Sweeney, who has known him for years, said, “Really?”

Noel replied, “Really, yes.”

Recently, Liam looked unrecognizable as he stepped out with a dark bushy beard.

The ex-Oasis frontman was spotted sporting long black and gray facial fluff during his daily swagger.

Liam wore a black hooded coat with matching shorts and trainers near his north London home.

One viewer said: “I barely recognized him.”
