‘Let’s go’: Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba react to Arsenal news

Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba have responded on Instagram by saying ‘let’s go’ after Marquinhos was loaned from Arsenal to Ligue 1 club Nantes for a season.

Arsenal signed Marquinhos from Sao Paulo last summer and then loaned him to Norwich City on a six-month loan during the January transfer window.

And upon his return, Mikel Arteta has decided to send him to France’s top flight, where he has signed for Nantes.

The 20-year-old reacted further to this step Instagram on Saturday with the words “new challenge” and he received a series of messages in the comments.

Hours after Arsenal beat Nottingham Forest in the Premier League opener, William Saliba told Marquinhos: “Let’s go bro” while Gabriel added: “Let’s go my little boy!”

Bukayo Saka sets standards

The English speedster is in top form and followed on from last season by making an explosive start against Nottingham Forest.

In the decisive goal of the game, Bukayo Saka’s stunning curling thrust was too hot for Matt Turner between the posts.

Arsenal’s ‘Starboy’ sets the standard and shows someone like Marqinhos how it should be done.
