YouTuber Leonhart was stunned after pulling out a rare $30,000 Pokemon Charizard card. The TCG collector got his hands on the vintage collection after scoring another $15,000 Charizard in the same grand opening.
Originally released in 2003, Pokemon Trading Card Game Expansion Skyridge was the last volume published by Wizards of the Coast. As the popularity of this hobby was dwindling at the time, it was one of TCG’s least printed products, making them extremely rare.
The Pokemon community was debunked when YouTuber Lee’Leonhart‘Steinfeld not only managed to get his hands on the highly coveted Pokemon card packs, but also obtained the rarest collectible Crystal Charizard of the multi-thousand dollar expansion.

For his February upload, the Youtuber decided to unwrap classic Pokemon card packs from his collection. However, he was stunned when he tried to pull a $15,000 holographic Charizard from the 2002 Expedition set.
“WE DRIVE Charizard! OH MY GOD. Guys, I can’t believe it! ” the TCG collector shouted with excitement. Little did he know, the Youtuber’s luck was just beginning when he drew an even rarer card just minutes later.
Leonhart completely lost it when his Skyridge package had a Crystal Holo Charizard inside, worth up to $30,000. “WE HAVE DONE IT! WE WAS Pulling A Crystal BONUS! I dreamed of this moment,” he shouted in shock.

Pokemon card fans have revealed that the rare Skyridge Charizard is the last of the Kanto starters he needs. “This is the last Charizard I want to pull,” he said. Steinfeld later added on the sentiment, “This is one of the best Pokemon card openings in my entire channel history.”
Given that the collector was able to score two of the rarest collectibles worth thousands of pieces, it is sure to go down in history as one of the craziest. TCG each loophole is recorded online.
