Lena Headey has been sued by former agents for $1.5 million over unpaid “Thor” fees

Lena Headey has a lawsuit coming up.

The 48-year-old Game of Thrones graduate is being sued by her former British agency Troika for allegedly unpaid commission fees for $1.5 million.

The money is linked to a number of films, including the 2022 Marvel film Thor: Love and Thunder.

Troika, now known as YMU, claimed that the British actress owed the company $500,000 from her salary for the superhero film.

However, the final version of Thor: Love and Thunder – in theaters July 8 – will not feature any scenes with Headey, Variety confirmed Thursday.

Court documents viewed by the outlet indicate that she joined Troika in 2005 with her personal representative Michael Duff, who left his previous position at Lou Carl Associates to join the organization. Duff co-founded Troika and Headey left the agency in May 2020.

Troika also claimed that the Mortal Instruments actress has yet to pay them commission fees for another project titled 9 Bullets.

She reportedly owes at least $300,000 on the mystery drama she recently filmed with actor Sam Worthington, as well as $650,000 on the Showtime series Rita, according to Variety.

The lawsuit seeks payment of commission fees and also seeks damages for breach of contract, interest and reimbursement of attorneys’ fees.

The five-time Emmy-nominated entertainer claimed in her defense that she never signed a deal with Troika or Duff, and said the two companies were acting on a verbal agreement made when Duff was with Lou in the 1990s Carl Associates was.

Her defense then stated that Troika was never Headey’s only agency she signed with. The “Imagine Me & You” star is also represented in the USA by the Creative Arts Agency.

She also argued that Troika was not entitled to any money from Thor: Love and Thunder, adding that the alleged role came about when director Taika Waititi asked her directly about it.

For 9 Bullets, the role wasn’t negotiated between Troika and Duff, Headey claimed. “Rita” has yet to air; However, Headey revealed that she was only paid $325,000 for the pilot episode and Troika has already been reimbursed $22,750.
