Leftists condemn New York Mayor Eric Adams for telling the truth about the refugee crisis

Right on schedule, Queens State Senator Jessica Ramos is pulling the racism card against Mayor Eric Adams over the refugee crisis.

Adams publicly feared that the social and economic burdens of the influx (more than 110,000 last year) “will destroy New York City.”

“I had a really hard time falling asleep thinking about the idiocy that was being spewed at a city hall,” Ramos lamented, calling the mayor’s words “divisive and xenophobic.”

No, she didn’t. She couldn’t sleep because, like a toddler on the night before her birthday, she was so excited to deliver a cheap and lazy blow to the man she apparently wants to compete against.

When will New York City attract adults as politicians?

The reality is that the vast majority of New Yorkers, 82%, see the influx as a problem for real reasons.

A clear majority, nearly 60%, say New York has already done enough.

It is not xenophobic to worry about the massive strain on the budget, as costs are expected to reach $12 billion by the end of fiscal year 2025 even if the inflow levels off (It won’t).

This corresponds to that combined Parks and Sanitation Department and FDNY budgets.

It’s Adams’ Work to ensure the well-being of the entire city.

He is the mayor. He has to make the hard decisions and not be guided by Twitter posts or virtue signaling.

Please remind us: What tough decisions has Ramos ever made?

Not one. She is a leftist with a safe Democratic seat in the country’s highest-paid parliament.

She is responsible for this no onethanks to the Democrats’ stranglehold on city politics.

That leaves her adopting an extreme and childish attitude towards migrants without having to face reality.

In fact, like many other local politicians, she doesn’t care about what’s good for the city or voters, and instead has the freedom to seek influence on social media.

And it is absolutely typical of the online cadres that give the New York Democrats the direction on crucial issues.

Queens socialist Tiffany Cabán absurdly called Adams’ words “vile MAGA garbage”; “Dangerous xenophobia,” echoed woke city council member Shahana Hanif.

Or remember AOC’s cruelly narcissistic stunt a few years ago at the southern border, where she dressed in white and squeezed out a few crocodile tears in front of the cameras while staring at the horrors of… . . a mostly empty street.

The refugee crisis rocks Gotham Is a crisis.

It will cost the city and its taxpayers billions and severely strain services.

The The hard truth remains, no matter how many leftists feign righteous anger for comments.
