LEEDS have been charged by the FA after their angry players sparked a mass brawl at Chelsea.
Jorginho takes the penalty kick to secure a Dramatic 3-2 win for the Blues.
And after complaining to Kavanagh about a foul on Antonio Rudiger that led to the penalty decision, the Leeds players then caused a major scuffle with their Chelsea counterparts.
But the decision went back to Leeds, with the result that the FA charged Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
An official statement read: “Leeds has been charged with breaching FA Rule E20.1 following the Premier League game against Chelsea.
“It is alleged that Leeds failed to ensure its players were running in an orderly manner when they surrounded the match referee in the 93rd minute.
“The club has until Thursday to provide a response.”
The incident also saw Chelsea star Rudiger, who won two penalties against Leeds, being dragged out of the scuffle.
And Blues coach Thomas Tuchel believes these scenes were actually triggered by his belatedly successful penalty kick.
Tuchel explains: “Toni is an emotional leader and an aggressive leader on the pitch, and he can’t help but get involved if a teammate is defending him or in an argument. This is 100% Rudiger.
“Hopefully, with the way I look at it, no harm will happen. I can understand their frustration because we’ve all been in this situation where you think you’re right and then it slips away.
“You are angry and frustrated. Leeds are a strong team and they had to lose like we did and they got heated up. I hope nothing bad happens.”
